The World Federation of Hypnotherapists is a UK Organisation which was founded in 1981 setting out to train students to the very highest standards within the profession of hypnotherapy. The British Association of Therapeutical Hypnotists is incorporated into the Federation, this association was founded in 1951 and is one of the oldest hypnotherapy training associations in Europe.

The World Federation of Hypnotherapists is a not-for-profit organisation affiliated to The Hypnotherapy Society, the organisation is run and managed by an elected management committee comprised of chairman, vice chairman, secretary and treasurer. The World Federation of Hypnotherapists is a professional organisation managed by professional hypnotherapists for professional hypnotherapists.
